Core i7-9700T vs Core i3-10105F benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Core i7-9700T beats the Core i3-10105F in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i3-10105F has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-9700T has significantly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Core i3-10105F that has 4 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i3-10105F has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-9700T. Also, the Core i3-10105F has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i7-9700T CPU outputs less heat than a Core i3-10105F CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Core i7-9700T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
