Core i7-9700T vs Core i3-10100F specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Core i7-9700T beats the Core i3-10100F in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i3-10100F has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i7-9700T has significantly more cores than the Core i3-10100F. Indeed, the Core i7-9700T has 8 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Core i3-10100F. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Core i3-10100F has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-9700T. Furthermore, both these CPUs have identical turbo speeds. A Core i7-9700T CPU outputs less heat than a Core i3-10100F CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Core i7-9700T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
