Core i5-9600T vs Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-9600T is faster than the Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-9600T has significantly more cores with 6 cores compared to the Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-9600T. Also, the Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-9600T CPU outputs less heat than a Ryzen 3 PRO 3200G CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Core i5-9600T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
