Core i5-6400T vs Pentium G4520 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium G4520 is faster than the Core i5-6400T. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-6400T in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-6400T has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium G4520 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G4520. With our hardware info, we find that the Pentium G4520 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-6400T. A Core i5-6400T CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G4520 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. For instance, the Core i5-6400T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
