Core i5-13450HX vs Ryzen 5 7500F specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen 5 7500F is faster than the Core i5-13450HX. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i5-13450HX in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-13450HX has significantly more cores with 10 cores compared to the Ryzen 5 7500F that has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 7500F. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 7500F has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-13450HX. The info from our database shows that the Core i5-13450HX has more L2 cache than the Ryzen 5 7500F. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 7500F has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Core i5-13450HX.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i5-13450HX has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
