Core i5-1035G4 vs Xeon X5647 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-1035G4 is faster than the Xeon X5647. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon X5647 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Xeon X5647 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-1035G4. Despite this, the Core i5-1035G4 has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Core i5-1035G4 CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon X5647 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The data shows that both these CPUs have same sized L2 caches. The Xeon X5647 also has significantly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Core i5-1035G4 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
