Core i3-8350K vs Core i5-1035G4 specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-1035G4 performs better than the Core i3-8350K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i3-8350K in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Core i5-1035G4 has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i3-8350K has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-1035G4. The Core i5-1035G4 outputs less heat than Core i3-8350K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache. The Core i3-8350K also has slightly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Core i3-8350K has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
