Core i3-1115G4 vs Core i5-1035G4 benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i5-1035G4 performs better than the Core i3-1115G4. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i3-1115G4 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i5-1035G4 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Core i3-1115G4 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i3-1115G4. With our hardware info, we find that the Core i3-1115G4 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-1035G4. Also, the Core i3-1115G4 has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i5-1035G4 outputs less heat than Core i3-1115G4 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Core i3-1115G4 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i5-1035G4. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Core i3-1115G4 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
