Core i3-1005G1 vs N150 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i3-1005G1 is faster than the N150. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the N150 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the N150 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Core i3-1005G1 that has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i3-1005G1 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the N150. The info from our database shows that the N150 has more L2 cache than the Core i3-1005G1. The N150 also has significantly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Core i3-1005G1 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
