Celeron J4005 vs Core i5-1035G1 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Core i5-1035G1 beats the Celeron J4005 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Celeron J4005 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i5-1035G1 has significantly more cores than the Celeron J4005. Indeed, the Core i5-1035G1 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Celeron J4005. It also has more threads than the Celeron J4005. Our comparison shows that the Celeron J4005 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-1035G1. A Celeron J4005 CPU outputs less heat than a Core i5-1035G1 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Celeron J4005 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
