A8-7410 vs Celeron 7305 benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the Celeron 7305 beats the A8-7410 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A8-7410 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Celeron 7305 has slightly more cores with 5 cores compared to the A8-7410 that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the A8-7410. With our hardware info, we find that the A8-7410 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Celeron 7305. The Celeron 7305 outputs less heat than A8-7410 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Celeron 7305 has significantly more L2 cache than the A8-7410

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A8-7410 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
