A6-9500 vs FX-9800P benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the A6-9500 is faster than the FX-9800P. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the FX-9800P in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the FX-9800P has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A6-9500 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A6-9500. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A6-9500 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the FX-9800P. The info from our database shows that the FX-9800P has more L2 cache than the A6-9500
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A6-9500 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
