A6-9500 vs Core i3-4030U specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the A6-9500 performs better than the Core i3-4030U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core i3-4030U in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Core i3-4030U has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the A6-9500 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i3-4030U. The Core i3-4030U outputs less heat than A6-9500 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A6-9500 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
