A6-9500 vs A10-7300 benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the A6-9500 beats the A10-7300 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-7300 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the A10-7300 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the A6-9500 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A6-9500. With our hardware info, we find that the A6-9500 has a significantly higher clock speed than the A10-7300. The A10-7300 outputs less heat than A6-9500 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the A10-7300 has more L2 cache than the A6-9500

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the A6-9500 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
