A10-7890K vs Pentium G4560 specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Pentium G4560 performs better than the A10-7890K. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-7890K in all gaming tests too.
When comparing these CPUs we notice that they have the same number of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the A10-7890K has a slightly higher clock speed than the Pentium G4560. The Pentium G4560 outputs less heat than A10-7890K thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the A10-7890K has more L2 cache than the Pentium G4560
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the A10-7890K has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
