A10-7300 vs Celeron J4005 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Celeron J4005 performs better than the A10-7300. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A10-7300 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the A10-7300 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Celeron J4005 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Celeron J4005. With our hardware info, we find that the Celeron J4005 has a slightly higher clock speed than the A10-7300. The Celeron J4005 outputs less heat than A10-7300 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the A10-7300 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
