Xeon X5675 vs Ryzen 5 5500GT benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 5500GT performs better than the Xeon X5675. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon X5675 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon X5675 has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Ryzen 5 5500GT has 3 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 5500GT. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 5500GT has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon X5675. Also, the Ryzen 5 5500GT has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 5 5500GT outputs less heat than Xeon X5675 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 5 5500GT has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Xeon X5675. The Ryzen 5 5500GT also has slightly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Xeon X5675 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
