Xeon X5482 vs Pentium 6805 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Xeon X5482 performs better than the Pentium 6805. Despite this, the Pentium 6805 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the Xeon X5482 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium 6805 has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon X5482 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Pentium 6805. The Pentium 6805 outputs less heat than Xeon X5482 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Xeon X5482 has significantly more L2 cache than the Pentium 6805

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Xeon X5482 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
