Xeon X5470 vs Athlon 3000G benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon X5470 is faster than the Athlon 3000G. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Athlon 3000G in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Xeon X5470 has significantly more cores than the Athlon 3000G. Indeed, the Xeon X5470 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Athlon 3000G. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Athlon 3000G has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon X5470. The Athlon 3000G outputs less heat than Xeon X5470 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Xeon X5470 has more L2 cache than the Athlon 3000G
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Xeon X5470 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
