In our benchmarks, the Xeon X5450 beats the Xeon E5-450 in overall performance. Despite this, the Xeon E5-450 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. In terms of clock speed, the Xeon X5450 and Xeon E5-450 are identical in this regard.
