Xeon X5450 vs Pentium 6805 specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Pentium 6805 performs better than the Xeon X5450. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon X5450 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Xeon X5450 has significantly more cores than the Pentium 6805. Indeed, the Xeon X5450 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Pentium 6805. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon X5450 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Pentium 6805. The Pentium 6805 outputs less heat than Xeon X5450 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Xeon X5450 has more L2 cache than the Pentium 6805
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Xeon X5450 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
