Xeon X5450 vs Core i3-1115G4E benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Xeon X5450 beats the Core i3-1115G4E in overall performance. Despite this, the Core i3-1115G4E has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon X5450 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Core i3-1115G4E has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Xeon X5450 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-1115G4E. The Core i3-1115G4E outputs less heat than Xeon X5450 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The info from our database shows that the Xeon X5450 has more L2 cache than the Core i3-1115G4E
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Xeon X5450 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
