Xeon W-11855M vs Ryzen 7 6800HS benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Xeon W-11855M performs better than the Ryzen 7 6800HS. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 7 6800HS in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 7 6800HS has slightly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Xeon W-11855M has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Xeon W-11855M. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 6800HS has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon W-11855M. Despite this, the Xeon W-11855M has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 7 6800HS outputs less heat than Xeon W-11855M thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Xeon W-11855M has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
