Xeon W-11855M vs Core i7-1360P comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon W-11855M is faster than the Core i7-1360P. Despite this, the Core i7-1360P has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-1360P has significantly more cores with 12 cores compared to the Xeon W-11855M that has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Xeon W-11855M. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon W-11855M has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-1360P. Despite this, the Core i7-1360P has a slightly higher turbo speed.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Xeon W-11855M has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
