Xeon W-10855M vs Core i7-1365U benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i7-1365U is faster than the Xeon W-10855M. Despite this, the Xeon W-10855M has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-1365U has significantly more cores with 10 cores compared to the Xeon W-10855M that has 6 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon W-10855M has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-1365U. Despite this, the Core i7-1365U has a slightly higher turbo speed.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Xeon W-10855M has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
