Xeon W-10855M vs Core i5-1335U benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Core i5-1335U beats the Xeon W-10855M in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon W-10855M in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i5-1335U has significantly more cores than the Xeon W-10855M. Indeed, the Core i5-1335U has 10 cores compared to 6 cores found in the Xeon W-10855M. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon W-10855M has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i5-1335U. Also, the Xeon W-10855M has a slightly higher turbo speed.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Xeon W-10855M has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
