Xeon Silver 4210R vs Ryzen AI 7 350 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen AI 7 350 performs better than the Xeon Silver 4210R. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon Silver 4210R in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Xeon Silver 4210R has slightly more cores than the Ryzen AI 7 350. Indeed, the Xeon Silver 4210R has 10 cores compared to 8 cores found in the Ryzen AI 7 350. It also has more threads than the Ryzen AI 7 350. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon Silver 4210R has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen AI 7 350. Despite this, the Ryzen AI 7 350 has a significantly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen AI 7 350 outputs less heat than Xeon Silver 4210R thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Xeon Silver 4210R has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
