Xeon Silver 4210R vs Ryzen 7 6800H benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 7 6800H performs better than the Xeon Silver 4210R. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon Silver 4210R in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Xeon Silver 4210R has slightly more cores than the Ryzen 7 6800H. Indeed, the Xeon Silver 4210R has 10 cores compared to 8 cores found in the Ryzen 7 6800H. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 7 6800H. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 7 6800H has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon Silver 4210R. Also, the Ryzen 7 6800H has a significantly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 7 6800H outputs less heat than Xeon Silver 4210R thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Xeon Silver 4210R has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
