Xeon Silver 4114 vs Ryzen 5 5600GT comparison
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 5600GT performs better than the Xeon Silver 4114. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon Silver 4114 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Xeon Silver 4114 has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 5 5600GT. Indeed, the Xeon Silver 4114 has 10 cores compared to 6 cores found in the Ryzen 5 5600GT. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 5 5600GT. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 5600GT has a significantly higher clock speed than the Xeon Silver 4114. Also, the Ryzen 5 5600GT has a significantly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 5 5600GT outputs less heat than Xeon Silver 4114 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Xeon Silver 4114 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
