Xeon Silver 4110 vs Xeon W-2223 comparison
In our benchmarks, the Xeon Silver 4110 beats the Xeon W-2223 in overall performance. Despite this, the Xeon W-2223 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Xeon Silver 4110 has significantly more cores with 8 cores whereas the Xeon W-2223 has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Xeon W-2223. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon W-2223 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Xeon Silver 4110. Also, the Xeon W-2223 has a slightly higher turbo speed. A Xeon Silver 4110 CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon W-2223 CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Xeon Silver 4110 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
