Xeon Silver 4110 vs Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Xeon Silver 4110 beats the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G in overall performance. Despite this, the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Xeon Silver 4110 has significantly more cores with 8 cores compared to the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G that has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G has a significantly higher clock speed than the Xeon Silver 4110. The Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G outputs less heat than Xeon Silver 4110 thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Xeon Silver 4110 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
