Xeon E5-430 vs Xeon X5570 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon E5-430 is faster than the Xeon X5570. Despite this, the Xeon X5570 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Xeon X5570 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Xeon E5-430. A Xeon E5-430 CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon X5570 CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Xeon E5-430 has significantly more L2 cache than the Xeon X5570
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Xeon E5-430 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
