Xeon E5-2667 v4 vs Core i7-1360P specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-1360P performs better than the Xeon E5-2667 v4. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E5-2667 v4 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Core i7-1360P has significantly more cores with 12 cores compared to the Xeon E5-2667 v4 that has 8 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Xeon E5-2667 v4 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i7-1360P. Despite this, the Core i7-1360P has a slightly higher turbo speed.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Xeon E5-2667 v4 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
