Xeon E5-2667 v4 vs Core i7-1270P benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Core i7-1270P performs better than the Xeon E5-2667 v4. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E5-2667 v4 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i7-1270P has significantly more cores with 12 cores whereas the Xeon E5-2667 v4 has 8 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon E5-2667 v4 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i7-1270P. Despite this, the Core i7-1270P has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i7-1270P outputs less heat than Xeon E5-2667 v4 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Xeon E5-2667 v4 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
