Xeon E5-2667 v2 vs Core i5-1335U benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-1335U is faster than the Xeon E5-2667 v2. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon E5-2667 v2 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-1335U has slightly more cores with 10 cores whereas the Xeon E5-2667 v2 has 8 cores. Despite this, the Xeon E5-2667 v2 has more threads than the Core i5-1335U. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Xeon E5-2667 v2 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i5-1335U. Despite this, the Core i5-1335U has a slightly higher turbo speed.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Xeon E5-2667 v2 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
