Xeon E5-1620 v3 vs Core i3-N305 specs and performance

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Core i3-N305 has significantly more cores than the Xeon E5-1620 v3. Indeed, the Core i3-N305 has 8 cores compared to 4 cores found in the Xeon E5-1620 v3. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the Xeon E5-1620 v3 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Core i3-N305. Despite this, the Core i3-N305 has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Core i3-N305 outputs less heat than Xeon E5-1620 v3 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
