UHD 770 vs Radeon 550 comparison
For gaming, the UHD 770 graphics card is better than the Radeon 550 in our tests.
Our database shows that the Radeon 550 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the UHD 770 has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, the UHD 770 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon 550 at 50 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the UHD 770 over the Radeon 550.
