UHD 770 vs GeForce 940MX specs and performance

For gaming, the UHD 770 graphics card is better than the GeForce 940MX in our tests.

The GeForce 940MX has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the UHD 770 has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the UHD 770 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the GeForce 940MX at 23 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the UHD 770 is better than the GeForce 940MX.
