UHD 730 vs Radeon Vega 8 benchmarks

For gaming, the Radeon Vega 8 graphics card is better than the UHD 730 in our tests.

By comparing the spec sheets, both the UHD 730 and the Radeon Vega 8 have the same base clock speed. Despite this, the Radeon Vega 8 has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

In addition, the UHD 730 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon Vega 8 at 45 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon Vega 8 is better than the UHD 730.
