UHD 730 vs Radeon RX 580 2048SP benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 580 2048SP beats the UHD 730 in gaming performance.
Our database shows that the Radeon RX 580 2048SP has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the UHD 730 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
In addition, the UHD 730 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon RX 580 2048SP at 150 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 580 2048SP is better than the UHD 730.
