UHD 620 vs Radeon Vega 8 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Radeon Vega 8 GPU is faster than the UHD 620 in gaming.
Our database shows that both the UHD 620 and Radeon Vega 8 both have the same core clock speed. Despite this, the Radeon Vega 8 has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
In addition, the UHD 620 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon Vega 8 at 45 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon Vega 8 is faster than the UHD 620.
