UHD 620 vs Radeon R5 430 comparison
For gaming, the UHD 620 graphics card is better than the Radeon R5 430 in our tests.
Our database shows that the Radeon R5 430 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the UHD 620 has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, the UHD 620 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon R5 430 at 50 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the UHD 620 is faster than the Radeon R5 430.
