TITAN X vs GeForce RTX 4090 specs and performance
For gaming, the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card is better than the TITAN X in our tests.
In our comparison, the GeForce RTX 4090 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
As stated by the manufacturer, the GeForce RTX 4090 has significantly more memory with 24 GiB of memory compared to 12 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.
In addition, the TITAN X has a significantly lower TDP at 250 W when compared to the GeForce RTX 4090 at 450 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce RTX 4090 is better than the TITAN X.
