T400 4GB vs RTX 2000 Ada Generation specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the RTX 2000 Ada Generation beats the T400 4GB in gaming performance.
The RTX 2000 Ada Generation has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the RTX 2000 Ada Generation also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, the T400 4GB has a significantly lower TDP at 30 W when compared to the RTX 2000 Ada Generation at 70 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the RTX 2000 Ada Generation over the T400 4GB.
