Ryzen Z1 vs Core i3-14100F benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Ryzen Z1 is faster than the Core i3-14100F. Despite this, the Core i3-14100F has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen Z1 has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Core i3-14100F has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the Core i3-14100F. Our comparison shows that the Core i3-14100F has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen Z1. Despite this, the Ryzen Z1 has a slightly higher turbo speed. In terms of cache, the Ryzen Z1 has slightly more L2 cache when compared to the Core i3-14100F. The Ryzen Z1 also has slightly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. Indeed, the Ryzen Z1 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
