It also has more threads than the Ryzen 9 9955HX. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX has a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 9 9955HX. Despite this, the Ryzen 9 9955HX has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Ryzen 9 9955HX outputs less heat than Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. In terms of cache, the Ryzen 9 9955HX has slightly more L2 cache when compared to the Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
