Ryzen Threadripper 1920X vs Xeon W-2145 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X performs better than the Xeon W-2145. Despite this, the Xeon W-2145 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X has significantly more cores than the Xeon W-2145. Indeed, the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X has 12 cores compared to 8 cores found in the Xeon W-2145. It also has more threads than the Xeon W-2145. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Xeon W-2145 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X. Also, the Xeon W-2145 has a slightly higher turbo speed. The Xeon W-2145 outputs less heat than Ryzen Threadripper 1920X thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
