Ryzen Threadripper 1900X vs Core i9-13900H comparison
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X performs better than the Core i9-13900H. Despite this, the Core i9-13900H has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Core i9-13900H has significantly more cores with 14 cores whereas the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X has 8 cores. It also has more threads than the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core i9-13900H. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache. The Core i9-13900H also has significantly more L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. Indeed, the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
