Ryzen Threadripper 1900X vs Core i7-7820X benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the Core i7-7820X beats the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X in overall performance. Despite this, the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen Threadripper 1900X has a slightly higher clock speed than the Core i7-7820X. The Core i7-7820X outputs less heat than Ryzen Threadripper 1900X thanks to a slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
