Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 9 7900X performs better than the Ryzen 9 8945HX. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Ryzen 9 8945HX in all gaming tests too.

In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Ryzen 9 8945HX has slightly more cores than the Ryzen 9 7900X.
